'Twas the eve before the first lockdown of 2020. Two old Elf friends who went to, actually, more like ran away from, school together decided to launch a new business helping people to Get-a-Gardener to get their gardens nice and clean, so that they could enjoy their summer at home during the nasty no-fun pandemic.

Well, during this summer-at-home, Elf Davy asked Elf Mally "Why Mally! What'll we do with our 3 lovely new vans over the Christmas?". 'Twas then the 2 Elves remembered a warning from the Stormcrow about a second wave of the nasty no-fun pandemic that might leave Christmas on the shelf (along with their other pesky Elf friend that they never can find).

They both decided there and then that that "just wasn't Cricket". So, why not magically turn their 3 lovely vans into reindeers, the backs of their vans into sleighs and their social media into a way that people could buy a lovely Christmas tree that was delivered direct to their door and picked up again after Christmas! A Christmas tree that was grown just up the road from their new sleigh depot in Enniskerry..."Well!" said the two Elves..."If there was ever a way to do our bit in saving Christmas from the Nasty Grinch Covid then this was it" ...and right there in that magical moment of defiance the beautiful GetaChristmasTree.ie idea was born...
